Weird Grinding-ish noise?

Hey everyone I have been having this weird grinding-ish noise coming from the area in the picture below....it kind of sounds like when your brake pads are down to the metal but its not the brake pads or rotors.

I can hear it when I am driving with windows down and if I go very slowly with no sound in the cabin I can sort of hear it. Hopefully I will take a video and upload later.

But does anybody have any idea what it could be?

That is in the area of rear trailing arm bushings, they dry rot, crack, & become loose, leaving the metal trailing arm to come in contact with the body & frame, which is common in E36!
