weird dash action..... - BMW Forum

ok so i was driving today and i noticed that my dash did this weird shit. ok so imagine if you will, when you turn off your car all the gauges and what not go down, and you turn them on everything lights up and gauges go back up, well mine decided it is going to do that...while on the freeway my gauges went to zero (in a sense) then shot back up. the car ran fine through the whole thing, but then it did it two more times...WTF is going on? i have never seen this before...is there something shorting out somewhere?

You may be getting low voltage from your battery??? check the voltage coming from the batt whilst its running ,on my old one it was pumping 9v which is way to low, I had strange stuff with the OBC, got a new batt which is now pumping out 14.2V and all is fine.
