i dont have a bmw yet, but mith my previous cars, ive had buttons in the glove box for the trunk lid. i'm 75% positive it is your trunk ... unless its some discreet, small button.

im with cruzin, just press it.

on our bmw's.. we have a manual trunk button.. u have to push the button on the trunk to pop it... unless i'm wrong...

The book says in case of electrical problem, find the manual override for the gas filler door in the glove box.
