Gentlemen, I need to change the water pump in my '97 318I. How much do you think a shop will charge for this...And can anybody recommend a good mechanic or shop in Orange County, California. I have taken my car to the dealer everytime for any repairs but I'm tired of getting overcharge for even the littlest repair. Thank you in advance for your help

Do it yourself, if you really want to save money. It's not as hard as you might think, just takes like a free saturday of your time.
