Water Pump '93

Quick question- Was doing a search on this and saw that '95+ were the E36's that used the plastic impellar. Does my '93 have a plastic or metal impellar?

The plastic water pumps are on 92-95 and some early 96 E36 6 Cyl cars.

So mine has a plastic one..thanks for the info. After i get the sub-frame checked out, that will be next on the list..

replace it don't check it.

you can get a cooling system overhaul kit from bimmerworld.com. includes radiator, thermostat housing, thermostat, water pump and belt, oh and coolant.

the cooling system of the M50 engines is the weak spot. if those things have not been replaced I would recomend replacing them.

Euro e36 have metal ones

that all sounds like a pretty penny there..it is a must tho from what i hear. First on the list tho is the "thud" possible rear sub-frame failure then its on to the preventative maint. Thanks for the site tho
