Exclamation a warning light i'v never seen before

a warning light came on a few hr's after i put a short ram intake it looks like a little gear and a (!) in side it i feel no diffrent when shifting or any thing

I thnk that is an automatic transmission control module warning light. There must be something wrong with your tranny

We need a picture of the warning light then, because the one I am thinking is only for Autos. YOu shouldnt have that come on, unless someone putan auto cluster in your car, or if your car used to be auto and was swapped.

You may actually have some other electrical problem that is causing the warning light to come on spuriously -- anything else weird happen to your car electrically speaking?

Does ure car have traction control? If so the warning light is from the Traction control telling you there is something worng. Since you modified the intake, i have a feeling you took the traction control body out of the car, and therefore trigging an error code.
But then if you dont have traction control, then you need to pull the codes out of the ECU and see whats going on..
