Wanting a BMW

Hey guys I'm new to this site and to the world of bimmers. I'm thinking of buying a 325is but I don't really know much about them. Is this motor capable of producing a lot of power? I would like to go for a sleeper effect because everyone at my school is into the mustangs and I hate mustangs. I'm looking to put a few thousand dollars under the hood and beat the shit out of those pony lovers. So any advice on possible mods or anything like that would be greatly appreciated. Oh and if any of you guys know someone who is selling one I would like to know.

How much are you loking to spend?

The 325iS isn't really much of a dragster car that i think you are looking for. it is more of a perfect balance between power and handling, if your looking for mroe power, try an e36 M3

If you can find soem hookups, you can definetely get it at about $10,000 for maybe a 97-98

The 325is will get you to 60 in around 7 seconds. Add a few k under the hood and you'll be in 5.5-6 territory.

Of course depending on where your living. Around here it is hard to find a 95 that low. I paid nearly 10 for a '94... It is in good shape though and less thatn 100k....

Look for a 328i. It has a little more bang for the buck.
