there isn't one problem on my car except for the power windows when you tap the "up" position, they go up half way and then go down a few inches, some days they work great, but others, its like pulling teeth. is there a sensor or something that i can replace to fix this????? ghead ghead ghead and yes i know that you push it harder to go up all the way and not as hard to go specific length.

since we are discussing windows, i thought i might add my question here as well..

i have a 92 325i... the one click window roll up/down only happens for the driver side window... in my friend's 318, it happens for all four...

can somebody tell me if there is something wrong with mine windows/switch or is that the way its suppose to be for my car?

Thanx guyz...

if something is putting pressure on the window as it goes up, it will roll right back down. i guess its a safety future in bmws so you dont do something like this:

i had the same problem with my windows, make sure the white clips are in their guide ok and that the arm is popped in all the way and the metal cotter pin thing is pushed in all the way
