HI ALL I NEED HELP WITH THIS CODE ( 29 VEHICLE SPEED SIGNAL NOT PRESENT ) WHERE IS IT LOCATED AND WHAT IS IT ??? IF ANYONE KNOWS PLEASE LET ME KNOW CAR IS 1991 325I

Here's a guess. The speed signal, I would think, comes from the speed sensor. The speed sensor is located on the differential. As the name suggests, it tells you what the speed is. Are you having problems with the speedometer at all?

NO PROBLEM WITHE SPEEDOMETER I HAVE AN CHECK ENGINE LIGHT FLASHING ON & OFF AS SOON AS I START THE ENGINE SO I CHECKED CODES AND THAT CAME UP ... YOU THINK THAT SENSOR IS BAD ? IS THERE ANY WAY TO CHECK IT OUT ??

I'm sure there is a way to check it. However, I don't know how. Maybe someone else on this forum has an idea.
