VANOS Unit question

well i have a 98 323is and sometimes when i floor the car after certain RPMs it looses power its like it has a rough idle too could this be the Vanos soleinoid valve or the entire unit pls help thanks

i allredy did a tune up and yes the check engine ligh is on but the thing is that this happans when i floor the car coming from a street from 30mph to like 80 it loses power and starts stutering, but i can turn the car off and then turn it bank on and the car is perfect nothing is wrong with it. can somo one tell me is this a posibility the my VANOS solenoid is going bad or is it something else

ok well i got the codes
OxD4 (212) VVT Jammed
Ox1D (29) ignition Cylinder 1
OxEE (238) missfire cylinder 1
i allready replaced the VANOS SOLENOID SWITCH what is the probability that the piston that is activated by this solenoid switch is bad or is it the entire VANOS unit PLZ help
