So i've found out that my 6th cylinder exhaust valve is not sealing properly and i am only getting about 100 as far as compression on that one... it seems to change at random however and seals at sometimes and doesnt at others. I also have a valve ticking in the 6th cylinder, but am not sure if it is this valve or not...
This seems to be the idle problem that i have brought up in the past... soo i guess my question is, anyway to fix it with out pulling the head?
1. You have a bad sagging valvespring, this can be fixed with the head on.
2. You have a lightly bent valve. This can only happen if the valvespring is sagging or if you overrev the engine.
3. You have burnt a valve so badly that it no longer seals. If it happens to one, it's likely to be happening to all of them, and would be costly.
