valve covers

i've recently been looking all over for e36 valve covers, and haven't been able to find a single thing that will fit my car. i've looked at quite a few nice ones but they are all for e46,etc. anyone know where i can find any that will fit on the 318 1.9l? also where can you buy the plastic housing/covering that i've seen over most peoples engines...mine came with nothing.

ummm i think someone on here has a blue one in their car, hopefully they will see this, but have you checked ebay? umm i know dinan has one for the 6 bangers? parts for the m42, m44 engines are hard to find!

The i4 and i6 valve covers are markedly different. If you look in my HID install you will see a normal i4 engine. If it doesn't look like that, then you're missing a valve cover. If you do have one that looks like that, its becuase its just the way the engine looks, unfortunately.

I'm the one with a blue one. Your car already has an aluminum valve cover. The 6 cyl models have plastic ones. There is a plastic peice that says "BMW" which covers the spark plugs. You could be missing this if your igition wires are exposed.

The only valve cover you'll find is the one made by BMP which is Carbon Fiber. It's lightweight and very expensive. Think thousands. All that for looks and a slightly lighter valve cover? No thanks.
