Has anyone ever done or seen a V8 in an E36? Any link to it would be appreciated.

The Alpina B8 (E36) has a V8.

So all accesories for installing a V8 (M60) in an E36 should be available at the dealer.
Probably not the cheapest way though.

They should, I've lost my ETK disc so I can't check part numbers, Alpina parts are available over counter.

I know the dealer sells motormounts etc to fit the M30 in E30's because of the Alpina B6 3.5. The M30 never came in regular E30's.

LS1 in an E36? While and LS1 by itself is a cool engine, that is outright blasphemy. By the german car, use the german parts. I want my engine built by Gunter, not David. Just my two cents...

S62 in an E36? I wanna see... Harrass this person you know for pictures.

There is also talk about putting in the twin turbo Supra engine in an E36. I agree I would never do it, but I would like to see it and ride in it.

I've seen pitures of it. Also of an SR20DET in a 318i.
Wouldn't drive either, don't like turbo engines.

But I'd rock an E30 with an LSx engine
