does anyone have the system u exhuast? if so did anyone have problems installing it so it was in there right along with the bumper? i have heard about/ seen a few e36s that have the uuc exhuast sticking out way to far from the rear bumper.. is this common or what?

It stucks out a bit far...that's why you get an M rear diffuser =)

Yes there are some fitting issues...I've had to reweld it a few times.

i definitely had a fitment issue. It does stick out rather far, but you get used to it. I would also take Deloriant's advice and get an M3-like diffuser. I had to take a rubber mallet to my catback in order for the pipes from the cat to the muffler to line up correctly.

mine is the perfect exmple of not fitting, but i saw deloriants car, the m3 diffuser helps alot...

my UUC sticks out more than stock did, but i didnt have to weld anything or bash on it lol. im gonna try to align the hight though...i havent heard anything about the AA w/ this problem

i have not had any problems with my system u, at least not yet. i dont think my tips stick out too far but that is more a matter of opinion.

get a remus, mine fits perfect...looks stock. also i think it gives a little more tone than the UUC, but everyones opinion is different.
i'll get you some pics if i can.
