Upgrating engine

Hi everyone on this forum. I have 325IC and I am tring to put M3 engine. Any ideas where can I buy M3 engine for a good price ? Thanks.

do some serious shopping, some places have better prices than others. also consider getting your engine re-built

look for a bmw junkyard in your area or keep a close on the classifieds. it will be hard to find a low-mileage engine in good shape that doesnt cost a lot of money

ya good luck getting one from a scrap yard, those things are sold before they enter, some people actually pay the scrap yard money in advace , just in case one comes in.

If you live in FL - I can give you phone # of a junkyard - they had a 95 M3 come in with intact engine and tranny. They asked for 4k for the entire engine takeout. He mentioned 4500 if you use their facilities and tools to put the engine in.
