I have a 1994 318is with a 5 spd, while it is quick, it is not fast. What is the most affordable way to give this engine some kick without endangering the engine or the tranny. My buddy in a v6 accord is bragging about how fast his stock car is, i just wanna go out with my little 4 banger and burn his ass.
wat year model is his v6 accord?? and if u wanna beat him, u may have a chance if you do a rolling start around 70mph. Is his v6 accord vtec? if it is yo are going to need a bit more $ to keep up with it. Exhaust system, ecu, fan delete, or just own him and throw and atlanic super charger in it

99 v6 accord v-tech, how bad is supercharging for my engine
Supercharging the 318 is supposedly very reliable. Said not to shorten the engine's life one bit. With the DA supercharger you'd be owning stock 325's and 328's
Not only will the supercharger (I recommend the Downing Atlanta unit) boost your power, but the 318 is closer to the perfect 50/50 weight distribution than a 325 or 328. I think, if you have the cash, you should get the blower, upgrade your suspension (Think coilovers, not JUST lowering the car, plus beefy sway bars, maybe a strut tower bar or two). then take HondaBoy out on a track and whoop his ass. I know of a few guys that have 318s that constantly beat higher-powered cars on the track all the time. Hope this helped,
