upgrade prefomance ignitiion coil and chip

Bavarian Autosport High-Performance Ignition Coils

is there a big difference with the high prefomance coil and the stock coils
for a 1994 325i do you get a boost or it feels the same, i`m thinking of getting
irridium spark plugs prefomance ignition coil and a bavarian prfomance chip or tunermotosport chip which ever is better is this wise or a waste of money

well not really, coils really dont make much of a difference on a relatively stock car, the chip will make a difference but the coils id say dont really bother, irridium plugs is another upgrade i wouldnt bother investing in, main reason is because these dont seem to work so hot on our cars unless , once agian, its heavily modded... i asked these questions back when myself , got these answers... from what i gather the coils are one of those mods that you do near the end, when your pretty much running out of way to eek power...irridum plugs are a good upgrade for force induced cars.

my brother has a 95 325i and he put in just the the bavauto coils and the spark plugs, it does help a little, not too much, then again...maybe its all in the mind..oh well...he claims you can feel the difference....

Furious is right, until you have done enough upgrades that you have needed to upgrade the fuel system and have a use for the added fuel these upgrades are going to do very very little. All it will do is give you is a more complete combustion and overkill at this point.

The chip however will make a difference that you will be able to feel. Not a huge difference mind you but a noticeable one. Much more so than the plugs and wires.

Only when you are running highly agressive cams, crazy FI etc etc will you need to fiddle with the ignition system

TMS is great bavauto is good if you want to be able to reprogram it at a later date. I am not sure if TMS does that too or not. I don't think you could go wrong either way. Just look at both of the dynos and see which one gives you the power/torque curve you like better.
