The laminate on the climate control module in my 94 325is is separating from the surface, and it doesn't look very good. This got my gears thinkin about replacing it (or just the front panel, actually). Then I started gazing at the fancy automatic ones (1996- ) on eBay and wondered if I could upgrade the unit to a digital one.

SOOOO.... can I?

If so, what's involved?

Thanks. Chris.

You can, if you want to pay between 500 and 1000. Its not cost effective at all. I dont remember what exactly is involved, but I rememeber someone who actually had an estimate done, and that was the range of costs he was quoted.
