unplugged Wire

i was fillin up some water in th fluid washer this morning and i noticed on my radiator tank that the little plug/wire directyl underneath the radiator tank was disconnected...

is this ment to be disconnected ? i put it back in and this evening i noticed it had come out again...some help wud be nice

Sounds like the sensor wire for the expansion tank. Right under the little tank next to the radiator, right?

1995 325I, window tint, K&N, debaffled airbox, BMW #104 wheels, Nighthawk low beams, smoked side markers, smoked corners, smoked taillights, M3 stlye heated mirrors, various interior bits, Bosal cat-back.

^yep thas the one...it feels like its conntected to the tank, im not sure tho....any way thas the wire thats disconnected....
