OK, as some of you ,might know, my underdrive pulleys finally arrived from UUC. So today at the shop, I attended to put them on. I Followed the instructions that UUC gave pretty well,
1. I diconnected the battery,
2. Removed the alternator-cooling duct,
3. Removed fan nut and left it in shround,
4. Removed underbody covers,
5. Loosend all the bolts from water pump and power steering pulleys,
NOW here is where things started to go wrong
6. I attempted to loosen//remove the Air conditioner belt tensioner, but I noticed that it had a slight crack and as I removed it it broke , so I need a new one of those now. But What I cannot find is where is the Alternator belt tensioner at???? And how would I go to loosen it so I can take alternator belt off?
I would truly apreciate it if someone could help me out on this, even better if someone could give me a diy on how to I guess replace the belts...

ok a few things here, 1. the ac belt , just pick it up from anywhere.
2. the proper way of taking off the serpentine belt (there is no single belt for each accessory) the tension pully is shown in the pic below, pretty much right behind my hand, you need to pop the dust cover off of that and use the proper socket and slack the tensioner (i think its clockwise but dont quote me its been a while since ive done it) then remove the belt.

ill look for my DIY on belts if i get a bit of time
Yes it is cloclwise... changed mine before... twice... dust cover... and socket get her done... its not all that hard once you understand it... that pully is on a oval type mount if that helps... dont take it all the way off... meaning dont take the pully all the way off... it bolts through your alternator but takes forever to get out... and a pain in the ass to reinstall... due to the oval alinement that has to be done...
Well, the pulleys are finally on. ANd I really do feel a diff, specially in low-end torque which is what I was shooting for and the engine seems to sound "beastier" and also sicne am putting less pressure on the gas pedal, am aussuming my mpg will go up So, yes I definetly suggest this mod to anyone who wants to do it and has some mechanical knowldge, it took a friend and I about 2.5 hours to do the all thing with tools and a lift.
Oh and thkx a lot for the help, but Furious, that engoine is different from mine

there is no where ive found that has em' specially for 318's
i skipped looking for a 318 clutch and flywheel and got a lightened m3 (8.5lbs) and a Clutchmasters m3 clutch and throw-out bearing, so, this makes me think that if that fit, then why wouldnt these???

I don't know how much the 318's engine differs from mine, so I couldn't really tell you if the pullies would fit a 318.
