Under-carriage Coating

The black coating on the bottom of my car is starting to get pretty shabby, its begginning to crack at all the right angles and in some places its starting to rust.

i HATE rust.

This summer i plan on getting my car on a lift and repainting the underbody, but what material should i use? i have tons of different types of epoxies that would probably work fine but does anyone know what the best material is to use?

I've had good results with Hammerite. It does a good job stopping rust and lasts a long time. It's expensive but well worth it.

Wasn't there a post a while back about clear, protective coatings to put on the bottom of the car???? I don't remember, but maybe you could do a search? Sorry, my .02
