My bmw has Pirelli p6000 225/45/17 on the rea and continental compact sports 225/45/75
i have never heard of the brand continental, does anyone know wat they are like, and wat a good brand of tyres are

a lot of dealerships put continental touring series or some this on their cars... probably cheap or something... moms a6 came with them...friends 325(new one) had them on there... i guess they should be fine..

toyos are always good and cheap
michellins are supposed to be good too

Continental are a good brand of tyre. They are common over here in europe.
The company is german. If I got a car with them on I wouldn't complain.
They also have a subsidiary comany called Barum which are cheap middle of the road tyres. They are ok for normal driving

As Munky999 says Continental are a good brand of tyre and used widely in Europe. I have the Sportcontact on my bimmer and they are wearing well as well as having good grip in both wet and dry. If you look them up on any european tyre website they nearly always come out in the top 5 tyres for most sizes and applications. They aren't the cheapest around but they're not the dearest either, all in all if you want good value for money these are a good bet.
