i would love for my new E36 316i the following, so any advice from the pros is much appreciated:
1. Angel halo headlights. I have no idea which are the best type to get. or where to get them. i have seen prices ranging from 20 quid on ebay to a few hundred on specialist websites.
i would love a quality set of halo lights which won't cost me an arm and a leg.
i have also seen some websites showing how to install them and it looks really difficult. so if there is a place in london, england that anyone know of that does this kind of stuff, i'd love to know.
i want something like this
2. finally, the rims i currently have are fine, but i have always loved the E46 style M3 rims. again if anyone knows of a place in london where i can get a set in 17 or 18, please let me know. i'v had a look on a few specialist sites and have yet to find these particular M3 rims. i don't mind buying second hand either.
this is my car, but the rims are fake, i just put them on using photoshop, to see how they would look.
1. talk to Jlevi or BMWerken they are our sponsors that deal with angel eyes. remember you get what you pay for and something like headlights that can cost anywhere from 100-600 id really think about how you want to invest your money.
2. are those the 19" M3 rims or the 18"'s?

1. theres no way i could afford the really expensive halo lights. what is the main difference between the cheaper ones and the more expensive kind? brightness? i have seen some that are just thing tubes that you install around the headlights. are they all like this?
2. not sure if you're kidding here or if it's a legit question i don't know the difference between the 18s and 19s.
SInce you have a euro model already, all you would need to get would be the rings, at about $100. Get in touch with somone at www.jlevisw.com. I am sure they can ship them out to you and provide you with instructions on how to install them yourself. It really cannot be too hard.
Try eBay for the rims. Maybe you can fins a seller in the UK, or someone who ships international.
Keep checking periodically. Someone from Eurpoe will show up eventually and will very liekely share his or her knowledge about where to get parts over there.

1.i hate to say it but the cheap ones are very dull, some you cant even see from the other side 4 way stop....... lots of them for sale are almost as bad as Gen 1 or Gen 2 halo's the new versions are so much better, not that expensive if you only need rings , (thought you wanted the whole assembly)
2. not kidding, there is differnece in look between the 18's and the 19's, in the picture i really cant tell.... and i love the look of the 19's much more than the 18's
Cheap DDEs are not dim at all, contrary to the popular belief; yes, they are dim in the bright sunlight, but hell, who has theirs on in the middle of the day -- the cool factor of having angel eyes comes in at dusk or dawn ...
Cheap ebay Dde's (those ARE the e36 rings):
Also check out BMTown.com < they are a british vendor, they might have something for you.
guys, since im only going to be getting the rings, does it matter which ones i go for? i mean there are some cheap ass ones on ebay, i think i saw a few for as cheap as $30. does it matter? are the rings all the same, or are some better than others?

The ones from eBay such as the ones you see in my pic use 2 LEDs per ring ... the more expensive ones use actual light bulb, thus making them brighter.
I suggest you save up if you don't have enough and go for the better rings.

furious so all euro bmws only need rings instead of the whole assembly? north american models are different in the headlight design or something?
The ones in the U.S. are not ellipsoid, and do not have the glass lens that is removable. In fact, they are plastic lenses. That's the reason you see so many Bimmers over here with Euro light upgrades.
