Turning Off Abs Light And Check Engine

How do you turn off a "check engine" light and a change brakes light on a 1992 325i ?

Also if anyone knows how to unhook the onboard computer, the buttons are broken and it has readings on it that can't be reset so I want to unhook it. I tried taking out fuses for computer but then it shut off my turn signals and fuel gauge.

CEL search pelican parts etc....should have something there to read about resetting CELS etc.....as for the OBC I use a flat card or a ATM/Credit card and insert above and below obc...there should be a small latch...stick the card in the middle and jimmy it like your jimmy a car ...should unlatch purdy easily hope this helps...

There's no latch, it's held in by friction. small screw driver or a pocket knife (be careful not to scratch) works best for me. ATM card can word too, but it's a little harder for me to do it that way.
