Turn Signals not working on my E36 convertable after the radiator ruptured

I had the top collar on the radiator that the hose attaches to break off of my radiator shooting the coolant all over the engine compartment. I replaced the radiator, hoses, belts, and a power searing pump that had previously gone bad while i was at it. Everything is running great but I have a problem with the turn signals. When ever I hit the breaks the left turn signal comes on. It does not flash it just stays lit. The turn signals work normal if I am just driving or the car is in park, but if I hit the break they will no longer work and the left turn signal stays lit. I think it is the turn signal relay but i am not sure. Anyone ever have a problem like this.

I have a similar problem as my head lights come on at random Hahahaha... Not a real problem to me as i drive with them on anyway...
I think you could be right suspecting the relay, but, also consider the LCM (Light Control Module)...
It could just be a case of water penetration.

I did not think that the E36 had a light control module. I thought that is in the 5 and 7 series models.

Pretty sure your car will have them too...
