Turn Signal Light

I just purchased a 1994 318 and the turn signals work fine except the right side indicator light in the dash by the tach doesn't blink to indicate that they are on.

I see some screws along the upper part of the clear window covering the lights. Is that how I access the lights?

if it is like my E30 it os not fun. Lower under dash panel remove, steering column surround remove, reach under and behind insrument cluster and remove two circular thumb screws, remove panel below instrument cluster, remove screws behind that panel, remove the two screws at top of cluster, then tilt her forward to acees electrcial connector releases.

removed the air bag from the steering wheel (with battery disconnected) it a t25 or a t30 torxuse a driver. they are really tight so a pair of vise grips may have to be added to the driver. unplug the air bag. get it away from you set it face up on top of a table. then remove the steerign wheel bolt (16mm)
dont remove the wheel yet. mar the splines on the center of the wheel that way it goes back on in the same place.
then pull the wheel gently off don't pull hard because you'll unwind you slip ring not good by the way. once the wheel is off the splines rotate it down and set it on your legs. (don't let it hang)
then remove the t20 or t25 torx on the top of the cluster. and pull it out. the bulbs are the little black, tan, and green thing on the back.
