I wasn't about to buy it, just wanted to know if 6PSI is enough to really double your horsepower. Normal atmospheric pressure is ~14.7PSI at sea level, so let's say about 15PSI. 6PSI boost would be a 40% increase. After factoring in the inefficienty of a turbo, (~75% efficient,) it would be more like a 30% increase in total power. That is a very different figure than the 56% increase the auction says.

Other than that, does this look like a good setup?

More questions:
If you got an E36 turbo manifold, could you put any turbo on it?

Are there any special electrical things you would have to do on a BMW when installing a turbo?

i doubt 6 psi will double your power, yes there are you can have a turbo timer installed, sorry i'm in a hurry hopefully others can elaborate for me, i got to go cya

1. I would never buy such an extensive kit on Ebay...too much bs on Ebay...you never know what you're really buying.
2. The simple fact that they say you will gain 56% hp off of 6psi makes it clear that 1) they have their heads up their asses, or 2) They think they are marketing to retards who don't know anything about turbocharged systems.

6psi will get you 40hp...MAYBE.

My advice? Stay the hell away.

That sounds about right for 6psi on the E36 engines.

with proper tuning 6 psi can make more than that...

i met a guy who did over 400whp on 9 psi stock internals

edit: of course im talking race gas here...and you also have to advance the shit outta the timing

gettin a turbo i kno u gotta like make sure ure engine internals are stronger. dont kno bout six psi. but. i wouldnt. it would be more money than u think.
