There is a 318 turbo in the UK, it kick out 240bhp. It also has 100bhp shot of nOs to get it up to M3 power.

That was last summer though..... I'd imagine that it's blown up since then. :lol:

Dinan makes one I am pretty sure, but it only adds about 40 hp...not that substantial considering the cost for a Dinan turbo system...I would think that you could fabricate a good turbo system so long as you could come up with a reputable turbo exhaust manifold and turbo unit...

You can find several supercharger kits, some of which such as the dinan have been mentioned. I have never seen a reputable turbo kit. Most turbo 318s and even other BMWs are custum done, simply meaning that they bought a turbo and did the fabrication required to make it work. You could most likely save money doing it this way any way. A turbo from a mitsu eclipse might work nicely, and are fairly cheap but may have to be rebuilt. Or you could go with a new after market turbo such as a Greddy. As long as you don't do high boost your tranny should hold, but you should rebuild your engine with better O rings and the like to help keep the car running reliably.
