Does anyone know where the sensor that tells the car if the trunk is open or closed is?

Looking through my owners manual, it doesnt indicate a light for the trunk. Therefore, there is not a sensor. If you do have an indicator light, sorry, can't help there.

Okay, gotcha now. the switch is on the trunk lid. There is a plunger just to the left of the lock on the trunk lid.
