My mums 93 325is has 160,000 miles on it. lol
doesnt she have to change the transmission and
when r u supposed to change the transmission also
its a automatic S.T transmission.

hit this up cause, she wont listen to me so she might listen to u guyz

If the car is shifting fine then you don't replace the tranny... there isn't a specific mileage at when you say "hmm 160K miles it's due for an oil change and a new tranny".. some last forever, some crap out at 100K miles..basically you replace when it starts acting up

agreed. transmissions are suppose to last as long as the life of the car.. there should be no reason to replace it.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Change the fluids & tarnsmission filter, which is in the main sump. It's likely clogged up by now

i had 186K on my old automatic trany in my old e36, 185K on new on so far...like they said...if it aint broke, dont fix it..
