sy5alive is an unknown quantity at this point
I have an automatic 94 318i and I get a sort of grinding noise whenever I shift.
Anyone have any ideas on the cause of this? Is it something serious?

if u press the clutch while it is in neutral does it still do it?


in that case, some kind of bearing on the clutch

i dont get it, when do you "shift" in an automatic.. is that when u put it into D.. or do you go from 1-2-3...
