Does anyone know where i can buy synchro rings for a manual transmission. Also i need a complete transmission gasket set if anyone knows were to get theset let me know.

I dont think it is too good to crack open the tranny. I've heard it just causes more problems. Bmw won't even attempt to work on the tranny, they just replace it outright. You can get a used tranny for like $400-$500.. Are you doing the work yourself?

Yea i have done one before and it seemed to work fine. Just the guy where i got my parts went out of buisness. I have no idea where to find them now. You said that i can get a new tranny for $400-500. If you could give me a link or something that would be great.

Thanks I would buy one of those used ones but i dont want to get the same crap i have in my car and do all that work changing it. I dont want to get it and have grinding gears. If I did it my self i would know that it would work.
