Transmission

So I have to park on a hill of a decent grade. This morning I get in start up and put it in D i start to roll back a little bit. But I want to move foward so I push on the gas some. Revs get high. The transmission light comes on and I haven't moved much...

I stopped engine for a few seconds. Transmission light came right back on....

Ideas on the problem, costs, things to check?

possibly the tranny isnt geting enough fluid. might try backing down a bit and turning around...

Afer it sitting the whole day. I got home. Started car. No transmission light. Backed down hill. Drove around and up a few other steep hills. no issues. Parked in on the down hill this time.

I am going to baby it for a couple days see how she feels and acts but I think all is well. Perhaps just fluid starvation and bad timing/physicis etc.

I just bought a remanufactured tranny for my 95 352i convert from phoenix remanufactured transmission $1050. best deal going just in case you need them just google the name. Good luck otherwise
