 Transmision Problem
I need help with my Transmission problem. I have a1995 BMW 325i with an automatic transmission that was rebuilt in June of 2006. The transmission started to slip and the dash warning lights came on and guages go crazy. I was told that it was the transmission control module. I replaced it and it did not cure the problem. It actually made it worse, so I put the old one back in. Next I was told that it was the Impulse Sensor at the top of the transmission. I replaced it with a new one and the transmission is slipping worse. When I put it in gear I have to wait for it to engage and when it does the warning lights in the dash light up again. I checked the fluid level and that is OK. The fluid looked good as new and didn't smell burnt. This problem just started all at once, with no warning. I find it hard to believe that a transmission that cost $2300 to be rebuilt (Transmission rebuilt by AAMCO) would need to be rebuilt this soon. The car is driven daily and has not been abused. HELP!!!!!!!!!!! |
