Tranny Problem

hi everyone! just got my 325is automatic yesterday and this morning the tranny light indicator was on the whole time when i drove from sf to santa clara. so the car is stuck in one gear for the whole trip. got to santa clara at 8 am. start her up again at 8:50 am to go to work and mysteriously the tranny light indicator disappear. she runs perfectly for now. i'm very concern. please help.

you have to get a scan to find the fault code, if your car is pre 1996 than you can do it manualy, check the faq forum on how to pullyour own fault code, if its 1996+ than you might need to find the fault through the dealer or someone who has the proper tool. either way to me it sounds like the car was in limp-home mode.

i tried to pull the fault code three times with no success. probably will bring to the shop later today to find out what wrong with it.
