Tranny Mounts

I have been reading about several different avenues to pursue with my next mod and came across UUC tranny mounts. Since I am replacing my shift linkage bushings I think I'll do this while im at it. It seems pretty easy to do. Has anyone done this mod and is it easy? Anything to watch out for?

Yes many have done this... some tranny bushings are rather stiff... thus transfering the tranny vib into the drivers compartment... sometimes its a little bit too much... primarily with the UUC red one. I'd get a little less agressive bushing if I was you.. unless your pounding your tranny all the time.. and then that would wear the bushing down over time to a good point for regular use. Also.. try use the search feature... there have been many past posts about this...

Thanks, I was leaning towards the UUC black w/o enforcers. Less abrasive to the chassis and absorbs the vibration. Im not racing my car but figure for $35 why not..
