Traction Control Delete........

Ok.......picked up the Non-ASC intake boot today & decided to do my ASC Delete.......

"Getting ready to work"



I found an old fog lamp socket laying around, cut the male connectors off, soldered the 1 ohm 1 watt resistor to them & taped it to a plastic bracket. It plugged right into the ABS plug. This prevents the ABS light from coming on!







New boot installed, finished this in about an hours time, one of the easiest mods I have done.........







Lastly, I removed this little guy & no more annoying ASC light!

Pushing the button doesn't change the restrictive throttle body

The car is equipped with a more restrictive throttle body to work with ASC+T. The idea behind teh mod is to allow freer air flow, not just turn the function off.

Throttle response is supposed to increase, as well as midrange and upper range power. Some say the sound is deeper also.

Very interesting, I was going to say can't you just hit the button too and didn't know that the throttle body was restricted.
