hey guys
I shark injected my 96 328i last night and it was done fine. I can only feel the power at high rpms and i dont normally drive at like over 4500rpm but i will now cuz the boost kicks in well around 5000+ rpm.
i was wondering if anyone knew if the shark injection process improves fuel efficiency cuz acc. to my gauge it now shows if i drive at 80mph in 5th gear i get mileage of 32mpg and before it was 27mpg. seems quite steep and was wondering if i did not see it right before or if it is actually that good.
also when i rev my car high and smell the engine at times, will that burn out the engine in the long run ? thanks again

The ads say it will make your car more fuel efficient. I don't buy it. The only realistic way it is possible is the fact they say it is maditory you use premium gas once you flash or alter the DME. Good gas burns better and will likely increase your mpg slightly. As for you OBC reading, you are proabably just going down hill :P

I wouldn't recomend taxing your revs constantly. BMW makes enthusiast cars made to be driven in a spirited manner, but wanking the revs to redline through each gate will certainly shorten engine life. Have fun, be responsible.

I believe it. At partial throttle it remaps fuel flow so if you're crusing it's using almost nothing to keep the car going. In the end it will likely all balance out because it uses more gas when you take off from a stop or are accelerating.

hey thanks guys
this chip only gives a little boost when i am at high rpms , i dont honestly feel a significant change on the car to be honest, but maybe i will when i do an exhaust and intake job ?
