Tires and rims

Hey guys,
I wanted to change the rims and tires in my E36 325is coupe but I have no idea if the size I want to put will fit. I was thinking of 225/45/17 in front and 235/45/17 in the rear. I'd really like to have 245 in the rear but I"m sure it won't fit.
I would really appreciate if anyone could give me a few ideas, thanks.

I am currently waiting on new wheels & tires.......45's will fit in the rear with the correct offset on the wheel......as a matter of fact I went with 255/35/18's on the rear.....here are the #'s on the setup I am getting from bavauto.com

1895M455120B72 BEYERN WHEEL - MESH STYLE - 18" X 9.5" offset 45mm - BLACK
EASX 225/40/18 KUMHO ECSTA ASX TIRE - 225/40/18
EASX 255/35/18 KUMHO ECSTA ASX TIRE - SIZE 255/35/18
