Well my michelins are getting pretty low. I have P205/60R15, was wondering if anyone has a good or bad expirience with certian tires. I want to have decent performance, in an all-weather tire... i do live in new england... Has anyone tried the new Goodyear Assurance Triple Tread? Got good ratings on tire rack. used
Is money an issue? I am a fan of Michelins as the "perfect tire," but you'll be paying for it as they're always expensive (the good ones). If you don't want to spend $150 a tire, look at Pirellis, below that, Yokohamas, and finally, the best bargain in my opinion are Kumhos. If you want to know more about tires and self-educate to form your own opinion, go to www.tirerack.com. That place is INCREDIBLE when it comes to tires. Cheap prices and everything you could ask for with consumer reviews specific to make and model. And no, I don't work for them.
Bridgestone RE950's...Best tires I have ever owned!
Because they are all season they are not bad in the winter as well!
I bought them for my 318I a couple years ago, my 330i has brand new continentals that came with the car (total crap compared to the 950's)
I had a set of eagle F1's on my 300zxtwinturbo, the bridgestone RE950's are much better for half the price!
Good luck!
I got those kumho Ecstas for my 318i. For $41 a tire, those tings were PHENOMENAL. Actually, admittedly the sidewalls were a bit soft, but they gripped like a baby on a tit.
my bro has the Goodyear Assurance Tripletread, but, they dont come in 17's anyway, and those are all seasons, very nice tires. But, aslo the Michelin Pilot Sport, very nice tires, except in winter..

The michelin pilots are nice, yes, but a bit pricey, like most of their tires. Oh well, if price is not an issue...
