Tires for 318?

Hi, I live in Seattle and need to get some tires for a 97 318i I purchased for my wife.

what do people recommend?

What I care about - in order of priority is:

Wet handling
Performance
Durability

Of course, getting a good bang for the buck is important too.

KUMHO! Best bang for the buck on the stock 318i rims. Comfort, durability, grip, and almost performs better in rain than in dry. Creepy.
I think they're like $40-50 ea... seriously. Nice stuff.

Hmm... just looked them up on Tire Rack "Kumho HP4 ECSTA"... Huh. Grand Touring.

Well, if it's pragmatic and practical I still vote Kumhos. If you want killer all season performance, I'd go with the Yokos.
