I currently need new rubber for my 1994 318is.

I currently have the rims pictured below with 225/55R15 92v tires.
I would like to know if I must stick with this size or if I can get something along the line of a 205/60R15 or another possible size?

I have also considered getting a second set of wheels and placing winter rubber on these rims so if you have a used set of rims and rubber for sale please pm me. I am located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

The 205/60-15 is the stock size right? I guess a previous owner thought it would look better or handle better with the 55's on there? What does the tire label on the door jam say for size? Or its listed in the owners manual too. Maybe time to upgrade to some 17" rims? You can go to Tire Rack and look at all kinds of possibilities. I put 225/45-17's on my kid's car with no problems. Improved the handling a bit along with the new Bilsteins.
