Hey guys, I just bought a 95 325is last week and it has 131k miles on it. I was wondering when I should get the timing belt changed, or actually, how how many miles to they usually break on? I plan on getting it changed sometime next week, just don't want it busting on my before then.

Lucky for you, that time you have set a side for such a chore can now be spent playing golf. These cars don't have timing belts. They use a timing chain that shouldn't need replacement unless your car was to under go a serious engine rebuild!!

Thats some great news. I wasnt really looking forward to shelling out up to $400 for my mechanic to do that. Now I can put some money towards a Dinan intake. Thanks a lot.
