When I looked under the car it didnt seem like there was anything wrong with the actual frame for the bumper, but the cover is pretty F**KED up... as well as my frigging exhaust... the pipes are all bent and scratched...
but i see it more as an opportunity to upgrade my exhaust system? which one shall I get.. ??

It was some guy in a toyota corolla. his car actually got the most damage..
i dont know how fast he was going.. apparently not slow enough to brake in time.. i just remember braking, and then taking a quick glimpse at my rear view mirror .... then.... bam...
Hopefully nothing else in the subframe is messed up... I just fixed that shizzle cause it cracked... ... sucks too, it had to happen on the day after i wash my car...
At least it was low enough that your trunk is fine. I would say the M3 bumper and new exhaust(I have not changed mine or looked into that so I don;t know much, uuc?, remus?).
consider yourself lucky. I am now a self-proclaimed expert on rear ending an e36 after that dick that rear ended me.
FIRST OFF, open the trunk, take out the carpet so you can see the tire, batt., etc. Then the black piece that is between the battery and the spare tire, take that off and look at that metal peice underneath. If that is messed up you may have some problems.

As for upgrades, Go M3 bumper and UUC exhaust.
