Most BMW's don't have tilt. At least the three I had and all the other one's I have driven. But that's all right because I think the wheel is perfect where it is.

my 96 328i does not have tilt either, I was under the assumption that they only began the telescopic steering wheels for the E46 ones. But we can use the 6 way seats to adjust our height.

thats really interesting, cuz my 328i has all the possible options, winter package, premier and sport package, optiona OBC, and tractions control option. All this but no tiit....lol
I wish they came standard with telescoping, I like to sit near the wheel for leverage purpouses, legs can get cramped.
As you can guess, I have neither tilt nor telescoping.
