Most BMW's don't have tilt. At least the three I had and all the other one's I have driven. But that's all right because I think the wheel is perfect where it is.
So do i... my friend Mike the other night asked for it..

Are you saying the US BMWs don't have rake (up and down ) or reach (towards and away) adjustment....... ?

Never saw an e36 with tilt of any kind...the seat does move up and down though, use the middle lever

my 96 328i does not have tilt either, I was under the assumption that they only began the telescopic steering wheels for the E46 ones. But we can use the 6 way seats to adjust our height.

Interesting...I guess they do have tilt...it may be an option that ranks up there with heated seats:very exclusive! used
