Throttle Body Hose - BMW Forum

I really need some help. On the bottom of throttle body where the two throttle cables bolt there is a space where a vacum hose connects. My question is where the other end of the hose connects. I would really really appreciate any suggestions, my new engine is in and this is the only thing I need to connect to take my 92 325i out for the first time ever. If you need a new picture I can take another one.

WOW that is really weird I have never seen a TB modified like that. Where you see the 2 bolts to the left and right is where there should be 2 hookups for a coolant hose (It circulates hot coolant through the TB to decrease humidity and freezing). Looks like somebody plugged them up and for some reason mounted another nipple in teh middle??

I have never seen that before can you get a clearer pic?

After looking at the pic more it looks like somebody modified it to be the connection to teh ICV (idle control valve) instea of conencting it to teh rubber boot the way it should. See if you can blow air through it into the TB. If so that's what happened there and I would just plug it up and use the rubber boot connection to the ICV normally! Good luck and let us know what's up there...
