Thinking Of Buying 92 325is

it's a black 92 325is 5spd with 153k miles on it. no accidents as far as I can tell. Asking price is 3300. Think thats a good deal or is that low enough I should be wary? Is there anything I should look out for on this car?

Well, first off this is a Pre-VANOS vehicle...I don't know how important it is to you, but I would be less than inclined to buy. And it's an M50 engine, which is OK...$3300 would be a good price...but probably want to run a CARFAX check on it and deffinatly look at it closely before you make any hasty decisions.

I've been looking at e30's and my budget is too low for something much newer. I plan on getting this car to a dealer to have their shop take a look before I buy. Carfax doesn't show anything useful, just same old stuff, no accidents ect.

I'm still not sure if I want the first year of a new body before they got all the kinks worked out or the later version of an older body when it was all set and good. Bigger engine is a bonus, as is the look, but it will probably be a lot more to get it worked on right?
