Most people will ask more than what they actually expect to get when selling a car, house, ect. Here's advice after observing my talented, experianced father

After you get the car checked out by an offical mechanic (about $60), take the total cost of
all the repairs and subtract that from what they're asking. You may find that the new total is around 13500. Tell them that you're mechanic found ______ and the cost to fix everything is ______. Then, remind them that, plus taxes, their asking price goes up to _____ for you and let the show begin!
It sounds like a wonderful car, but (and I have a hard time with this
