I found a green / tan 1995 325is with 94k for $9000. It seems to be in really good condition, the guy said he might negotiate the price a little more, I think 9 is a little high. Anyways, what should I look for on this car? He said that because of his builddate, he didn't need to get his water pump replaced, could this be true?? Anyways, its got the sport package and the 5 speed, and I really hope I can end up buying it.

What all should I know before buying a e36? I'm worried about repair costs if something were to go wrong.

Mike

you can't go wrong with and E36. I bought my '92 325is w/ 144,000miles on it for 5K. It kinda sucked when i had it for only three days and blew the clutch up. I think the guy before me was hard ot it but who knows . I have heard that the water pumps do go out but as to built date i have no clue. oh and just a little side note the s in 325is means "sport" aka sports package. Happy buying.
