ok, so, my OBC reads -35ºF... so i look behind the bumper and the air duct is gone...
so i went a bought a air duct and temp sensor on ebay... my problem is... how the hell am i gunna wire it...??
there is 1 wire thats just dangling around under the hood... how am i sopposed to know if thats it or not???
the only other thing that i could think that, that wire can be is, my driver side sidemarker is no longer there...(meaning, there is no wires or bulb behind it...)
so any diagrams or advice would be greatly appreciated... thanks..
Ive got the same problem as you cruzin 323is, my car sometime back was in a front end colision i belive, both my side markers are not connected and the temp sensor says the same thing, any way i can reinstall the side markers and where do i look for the temp sensor?
im not sure how this post will turn out coz i got no idea how this whole new thing works, y can attachements .jpg ones only be 30smtin kb's?? thts tiny!!!
Yes ^^ That's it. Temp sensor. I'll try to find the wiring diagram and see if I can get you pics of the wire origin and destination off my car... later today... don't have the diagrams on this machine.

chances are if you were in a collision and its reading -35 and your not on the south pole....its severed off
so grab the 2 wires or just grab the plug and either sodder the 2 wires to the 2 prongs inside a new sensor or just plug it in...i just went with the low budget sodder and now it works just dandy

thats most likely what i am gunna do...
bringing the car in tomorrow for an oil change and emisson test... i'll have them do it!
follow up.... so i got an oilchange and inspection today..and i had the guy throw in the new air duct and hook up the temp sensor, and it works great!!!
finally, after 2 years of having the car, i finally got it fixed...
